Radiographic Testing (RT)
X-ray and gamma-ray examination of internal weld and material integrity, to ASME, PD 5500, EN 1435 and AWS D1.1.
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Sub-surface flaw detection, thickness gauging and corrosion mapping with calibrated high-resolution equipment.
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
Surface and near-surface crack detection on ferrous vessels, tanks, boilers and steel structures.
Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
Surface discontinuity detection on non-ferrous and non-porous materials where MT is not viable.
Positive Material ID (PMI)
On-site or lab alloy verification, preventing costly material mix-up failures before start-up.
Hardness Testing
Portable Leeb-method hardness testing, converted to Brinell, Vickers, Rockwell and Shore scales on-site.

An ultrasonic A-scan shows the probe pulse, any internal reflector and the back wall. Raise the gain until the flaw echo crosses the reject level and it gets recorded.

Personnel certification

Oversight
NDE procedures are reviewed periodically with clients to satisfy the requirements of the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (USA).
